I hope I did not post this in the wrong section.

I saw that the words (big big) being used to address someone here. However did that came about? I am just wondering.

你可以把他想成是大哥或大姐的尊稱

最後就變大大了..

"Big big" is not a formal Chinese.Just use on internet. I think it is because easy to type.
The meaning is close to master.

這個在台灣口語也是可以講的..
我覺得應該是 ptt 之類的 bbs 開始流行講的..
久了就很多人知道囉..
不過是在Internet 用得較多沒錯..
